Author Video Instructions

Introduction

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 IEEE International Workshop on Machine Learning for Signal Processing has been moved to a fully virtual conference. We have opted for a format where each contributed presentation will take the form of a pre-recorded video, available during the scheduled dates of the conference and on-demand after the live portion of the conference concludes.

As a basis for the on-demand programming, we request you prepare and upload a video of your presentation, consisting of a brief introduction with webcam, if desired, followed by voice over slides for your presentation. This will be considered as a replacement of your attendance at the conference, and is a requirement for your paper to remain in IEEE Xplore. This media will be posted within your presentation time slot on the MLSP 2020 on-demand virtual platform. Please note that the file must be a video file in MP4 format (more details below). Please do not try to upload PowerPoint or PDF files to the submission portal.

Your presence is requested for a virtual Q&A with attendees throughout the conference, through the virtual platform. Specific instructions and directions to the platform will be provided at a later date.

Recording your Video

Our recommended approach to record a compatible video from content displayed on your computer screen and voice recorded via the computer microphone, is to record the presentation using Zoom, available to users on most platforms and in most countries:

Technical Guidelines for your Video

Please note the final specifications will be checked at the time of submission. Files not compliant may not be uploaded. Please be sure the video includes the title of the paper, the authors, and a mention of MLSP 2020.

Submitting your Video

Please note: all video submissions are due on Monday, August 24. As a reminder, videos not received by the deadline will be considered no-shows in accordance with the non-presented paper policy.
